[인도/해외문화PD] 2017 K-Pop Academy

지난 6월 5일 주인도한국문화원에서 K-Pop 아카데미 오디션이 진행되었습니다.
On June 5, the K-pop academy auditions were held at the Korea Cultural Center in India.

온라인으로 사전 접수를 받은 이번 오디션에는 총 104명이 참가하였습니다.
A total of 104 people participated in the audition, which was received online.

오디션에 합격한 학생들은 세종대학교에서 온 전문 강사진들의 K-Pop 수업에 출석하여 K-Pop에 대해 전문적으로 배우게 됩니다.
Students who passed the audition will attend K-pop classes from professional instructors who come from the University of Sejong and learn about K-pop professionally.

강점 같은 것은 자신감이었던 것 같아요.
I guess their strength is confidence.

자신이 어떤 부분을 하던, 이게 사실상 정확도나 어떠한 그런 면에서는 사실 안무적인 부분에서는 떨어지는 편이었는데, 이제 자기가 이제 노래를 따라 부른다던가 어떤 이제 시선처리나 그런 자신감에 있어서는, 사실상 K-Pop에서는 그게 상당히 중요하거든요.
Their dance was good during the audition. But the most impressive thing was their confidence. During the dance they were singing and making eye contact with the audience. Confident is one of the most important quality required for K-Pop.

Attitude를 어떻게 보여주느냐 관객을 압도하는, 저 멀리 있는 콘서트 저 멀리 있는 관객에게도 내 에너지를 전달할 수 있는 에너지가 중요한건데 그 부분에 있어서 몇몇 친구들이 그런 부분이 보였던 부분이 있어서 그 부분이 참 좋았습니다.
For example, to be a K-Pop dancer one needs to have attitude to perform before the audience and the Indian participant had the right attitude and confidence and their performance was overwhelming.

제가 봤을 때 이제 안무를 직접적으로 이제 보고 외우는 단계는 다들 해 온 것 같아요.
I think they've memorized and choreographed the steps by themselves.

다들 그 정도는 잘하는 것 같아서, K-Pop에서 중요한 어떤 디테일적인 면 그리고 베이직 무브먼트를 조금 더, 기본기를 조금 더 열심히 트레이닝을 시켜서 이제 조금 더 디테일함과 절묘함을 좀 더 그런 부분에 있어서 조금 더 포커스를 둘 것 같습니다.
They need more detail and learn basic dance movement of K-Pop.
So I will focus on the K-Pop dancers and emphasize on their basic dance skills.

K-Pop 아카데미는 노래교실과 춤교실로 나뉘어 진행되며 수업은 6월 6일부터 6월 30일까지 약 4주간 진행될 예정입니다.
The K-Pop Academy is divided into Vocal class and Dance class, and Classes will last for about 4 weeks from June 6 to June 30.
