LA 한국문화원은 2017년 6월 26일부터 6월 30일까지 5일 동안 한국 역사문화 교육자 세미나를 개최하였습니다.

Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles held the Korean History and Culture Seminar for American Educators for 5days starting from June 26 th? to June 30 th, 2017.

이 세미나의 목적은 (미국) 전국의 초중고 교사들과 대학 교수들을 대상으로 한국 역사문화를 총 망라한 내용들을 다루고 있는 세미나입니다.

The purpose of this seminar is to promote Korea to American educators through lectures and workshops on Korean History and culture

이 분들이 자신들의 학교와 커뮤니티로 돌아가서 한국 경제와 문화, 또 역사를 전하는 전령사 역할을 할 것입니다.

and ultimately extend to teach their students about economy, culture and history of Korea

정말 인상적인 세미나입니다. 지금까지 여러 교육 세미나에 참석하였지만 이번 National Korean Semina가 가장 훌륭했습니다. 정말 많은 것을 배웠고, 일주일지만 한 달 이상의 교육적 가치가 있는 한 주였습니다. 매번 올 때 마다 한국 문화를 더욱 사랑하게 됩니다.

제가 살고 있는 캔터키에는 한국인도 많이 없고 한국에 대해 배울 수 있는 곳이 없습니다. 그래서 한국 문화를 배우고 싶어 한국 문화의 중심지라고 할 수 있는 LA에 왔습니다. 캔터키에 돌아가면 이번 세미나에서 배운 것을 바탕으로 다른 교사들에게 한국 문화에 대해서 알려주려고 합니다. 개인적으로 역사 부분이 가장 인상 깊었지만 예술, 문화, 한식 등 모든 것들이 다 놀라웠습니다. 모든 강의 마다 알차고 가치 있는 정보를 담고 있었습니다.
