내레이션. 지난 7월 28일, LA한국문화원에서는 2018 K-POP 월드 페스티벌 미주 지역 LA 본선 대회가 개최되었습니다.　
　
자막. The Korean Cultural Center of Los Angeles and KBS America had presented the “2018 K-POP World Festival, LA Finals” on July 28th, 2018.　
　
내레이션. 이번 K-POP 월드 페스티벌에는 총61개의 팀이 지원하였는데요, 그 중 온라인 심사를 거쳐 17팀만이 이곳 LA한국문화원에서 한국 본선 무대를 두고 경연을 펼쳤습니다.　
　
자막. This year, all sixty one teams applied from different states, and seventeen teams were selected to perform on stage.　
　
내레이션. 이번 참가자 중에서는 트로트를 부른 참가자도 있었는데요, 관객석에서도 뜨거운 호응을 일으킬만큼 멋진 무대를 보여주었습니다.　
자막. Of all other popular K-Pop trends, Antoine Lee went for a trot genre; the performance was spectacular, leaving a huge impact on the audience.　
　
내레이션. (G)IDLE의 ‘LATATA’ 댄스를 선보인 I.TO.BE.팀은 장려상을 수상하였습니다.　
　
자막. ‘The Best K-POP Achievement Award’ went to I.TO.BE who performed (G)IDLE’s LATATA.　
　
내레이션. 보컬 부문 1위는 윤종신의 ‘좋니’를 부르며 뛰어난 가창력과 무대매너를 보여준 캐나다 출신의 ‘GYURI’가 수상하였습니다.　
　
자막. ‘K-POP STAR Best Vocal Award’ went to GYURI who sang Jong Shin Yoon’s Like it.

질문. 1등한 소감이 어떠신가요?　
답변. GYURI / 1등　
I have to study more of my Korean lyrics, practice more, so that I can deliver the lyrics better to the audiences. I am confident that I can do better on Korean stage. 2018 Changwon K-POP World Festival, Fighting!　
　
자막. 한국어 가사를 더 공부하고 연습해서 청중들에게 가사를 더 잘 전달하고 싶어요. 한국 무대에선 더 잘 할 수 있는 자신감이 있습니다.　
　
내레이션. 댄스 부문 1위는 최근 가장 인기를 끌고 있는 BTS의 ‘Fake Love’의 안무를 완벽하게 소화한 미네소타 출신의 혼성 7인조 그룹 MKDC팀에게 돌아갔습니다.　
　
자막. ‘K-POP STAR Best Dance Award’ went to MKDC who performed BTS’ Fake Love.　
　
인터뷰.　
질문. 1등한 소감이 어떠신가요?　
답변. MKDC / 1등　
We’ve been dancing together for a long time. We actually came together to form a team because we’re team made up of dancers, and because we all kind of discovered K-POP. K-POP is such a different genre and different type of way of expression. And so even though we all come from different backgrounds, we all are different Asians and stuff like that. We can all come together and be the this K-POP loving communities and so in a way this brings to us all together.　
　
Definitely, we are really a like performance base team and so we would like to perform as much as we can everywhere, in every location that we can. So I believe our goals would be to expand in term of being able to perform all over the world. 2018 Changwon K-POP World Festival coming soon, Fighting!　
　
자막. 저희가 함께 춤을 춘지 정말 오래됐어요. 우리는 모두 춤꾼들이고, 다들 케이팝을 알게 되어서 함께 팀을 구성하게 되었습니다. K-POP 장르는 매우 새롭고, 다른 장르에 비해 표현 방식이 다른 것 같아요. 저희 팀 모두 다른 배경환경을 가진 아시아 사람들이지만, 이렇게 다 같이 모여서 K-POP을 사랑하는 커뮤니티로 활동하고 있는 걸 보면 K-POP이 저희를 함께할 수 있게 해 준게 아닌가 생각합니다.　
　
저희 팀은 공연을 목적으로 하는 팀이어서 어떤 지역의 어디서든 할 수 있는 만큼 많이 공연하고 싶어요. 전 세계를 무대로 공연할 수 있는 역량을 키우는 것이 저희의 목표라고 생각합니다.
