내레이션. 지난 6월 22일, LA한국문화원은 LA Art Project의 세 번째 전시인 ‘디지털시대, 한지의 재발견’을 개최하였습니다.
자막. The Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles proudly presented the 3rd LA Art Project series of this year, titled, ‘Digital Era- Rediscovery of Hanji’ on June 22nd, 2018.

인터뷰.
질문. 전시 기획의도와 작품에 대한 전반적인 설명 부탁드립니다.

한지에 대한 새로운 재조명을 하기 위해서 기획을 하던 차에 기획 전시 공모에 응모를 하게 되었구요. 전시 구성은 우리가 익히 알고 있는 동양화 작품들도 있지만, 여기에는 사진 작가분이 한지를 이용해서 사진을 인화해서 전시를 한다든지 또는 유화 등을 다루었던 서양화 작가분들도 한지를 이용해서 작업을 해서 보다 더 다양하고 한지를 이용한 작품들을 감상하실 수 있을 겁니다.

자막. This exhibition is designed to shed new light on Korean paper. The exhibition consists of a collection of oriental paintings that we are already aware of, however, you can also find pictures printed on Korean paper and contemporary art pieces made with Hanji. Through this show, you’ll have a great opportunity to see the range of the potential our Hanji has.

I came to check it out and see the artworks and also the materials, the paper itself, and what it feels like. I look forward to more events where we can experience traditional or typical Korean art forms.

자막 . 전시를 둘러보면서 , 작품들과 함께 한지라는 재료를 직접 느끼고 싶어 왔습니다 . 한국의 전통 또는 전형적인 한국의 예술 형태를 다루는 다음 행사들도 무척 기대가 됩니다 .

Last year we saw television program on how Hanji in papers made and as an artist it was very interesting to us. They certainly used it in many different ways here. Very interesting, beautiful.

자막. 작년에 한지에 대한 TV 프로그램을 본 적이 있어요. 작가로서 매운 흥미로운 주제였어요. 한지를 이용한 정말 다양한 작품들이 있네요. 신기하고 아름답습니다.

내레이션. 이번 전시는 7월 6일까지 LA한국문화원 2층 아트 갤러리에서 확인하실 수 있습니다.
