[주LA한국문화원]아리프로젝트 "선 끝의 자락" 공연

It’s quite different when we listen to music on the audio compared to when we listen to it live. It’s similar to that concept. When I dance to real live music, I feel like I can communicate my feelings with the audience, which gives me more energy and enthusiasm.
이번 공연은 김묘선 국가무형문화재 27호, 광개토사물놀이예술단 그리고 비타무용단의 조진숙 단장과 미주 지역 공연가들이 함께 마련한 공연으로 한국의 전통국악과 무용의 진수를 화려하게 선보이는 자리였습니다.
On Friday, January 6th, 2017, the Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles and Vita Dance Academy (Artistic Director Jin Sook Cho) presented the “Tip of the Line” performance.
This performance was organized by Intangible Cultural Treasure #27? Kim Myo Seon, Kwanggaeto Samulnori members, and Vita Dance Academy director Jin Sook Cho and members to skillfully present traditional Korean music and dance.

It was great. I wasn't expecting something like that. I've never seen anything like it.
I like the rhythm. It was a kind of music I've never heard before so for me it was very new and interesting.
정말 놀라웠어요. 한번도 보지 못하고 상상도 못해본 공연이었어요. 리듬도 좋고, 한번도 들어본적이 없는 음악이라 새롭고 신기했어요.

I think its actually wonderful as I come from a multicultural family so i think its great for all kids of all ages to learn different cultures. Other dances, other cultures... this is great. great form of music. Something that I'd love to teach my kids.
저는 다문화 가정에서 자랐기 때문에 아이들이 여러 문화에 대해 배울 수 있는게 정말 좋다고 생각해요. 다른 문화와 다른 춤을 보는것도 좋고 오늘 들었던 음악도 좋았어요. 언젠가는 아이들에게도 가르쳐주고 싶어요.

역시 로스앤젤레스는 26년 전에 우봉 이매방 선생님께서 오셔서 우봉전통춤보존회를 만들었던 곳이어서 팬들도 많고 호응도 좋아서 너무 감격했습니다.
I was so proud and touched that the audience was ecstatic about the performance. We were happy to see many fans of Woo Bong Lee Mae Bang who came to Los Angeles 26 years ago to make the Woo Bong Lee Mae-Bang's Traditional Dance Conservation Association.

우리가 음악을 들을 때 오디오로 듣는 것과 라이브로 듣는 것의 감흥은 차이가 크잖아요. 그런 것처럼 제가 춤을 출 때 오디오로 나오는 음악에 맞춘 춤과 다르게 직접 라이브로 하면은 그들과 소통할 수 있고, 같이 어떤 감정이라던가 이런 게 소통이 되고 그러다 보니 더 업그레이드 되서 신나고 그러죠.
